Interview with Christian George

To the beach… where to park… aahh! Conference is everywhere! After finding a $35 valet spot, the industrious MiamiParties interviewers went to go do what we do… find all the hot new things for you, and the hot new thing we have this time has been brought to us courtesy of Brad at Big Mission Media: Mr. Christian George. This strikingly handsome, yet playful and down to Earth dancer, actor, model, and singer (Hey! That’s a lot of jobs! Maybe he should work for MiamiParties.com!) was in town for the annual tribute to dance music: the famed Winter Music Conference… that’s WMC to those who are texting this to anyone.
We sat down with Christian at his hotel room at the Shore Club on South Beach, in the middle of a week of non-stop partying. Coffee in hand, fighting back our hangovers, we got to business talking with him about his upcoming CD! “It’s really black or white with my music. The songs are so personal.” With a fun club sound and remixes for every occasion, his first track “Strangers” is ready to kick down the doors of your AM/FM, XM, or Sirius radio, depending on how you get your music. And if clubbing is your pastime, this guy will be blasting at around, oh, 2am, in the heat of the mix. Being at this conference and the parties “is the best way to showcase everything that I am able to do. Dancing, and dance music.” He goes on to tell us about his music, “It’s a better outlet for me to establish who I am as an artist. I wrote it, and was involved in the production as well.”
Knowing that to get into the industry and to be successful he would have to know the ins and outs Christian worked all the angles. He made the point that working with A list stars, acting as a sponge to what they were doing had more to offer him in the long run than waiting tables and parking cars. He has worked with the likes of Kanye West, Britney Spears, Sean “Puffy” Combs (back in the day), Queen Latifah, and Will Smith, and with those influences any artist would be hard pressed to give the fans anything other than some bang up hits.
Urban yet silky, ranging from seductive neo-ballads to driving dance floor ready anthems, his first batch of songs signal the arrival of a fresh, new soulful powerhouse, he’s more than primed for his place in the spotlight. As we talking about things he noted, “I’m trying to keep it very personal to who I am as an image as an artist, and my personality. I work really hard to stay on the cutting edge, and ahead of my game if I can. My music is indicative of that. My friends always say ‘if Christian is doing it, he’s either right on the money, or its about to be.’”
Now as much as he is all work, this man knows how to play, and among other things, poker is his game. He lamented on games winning and losing with South Beach regular DJ Mom Jeans (aka Danny Masterson of That 70’s Show). So, when in Vegas and you see these two, keep your money in your pocket!

Christian will be working on his new video and coming back to Miami as soon as possible. We look forward to have him back, as he said, “Miami is a fun incredible place to be.” We couldn’t agree more…
